Videography
Video not only provides a fantastic contrast to photo in a social space, but also is better suited for certain events and promotions. Capturing moments in high-quality video is something I take immense pride in. Take a look below for some examples of videos I have created over my eight-plus years of professional experience.
2024 Video Showreel
One of my personal favorites, this video is a compilation of much of my work from my time with West Virginia University Athletics. Showcasing multiple sports and events over the course of a few years, it also highlights different camera and equipment usage, such as drone shots and gimbals.
2025 - Men’s Basketball Intro Video
The second version of the 2024-25 season’s intro video, this was a really fun video to work on and incorporating Jerry West’s highlights into the video was especially fun as it was a season honoring his legacy. This video was used on the jumbotron before team run-outs during Big 12 conference play.
2024 - Pre-Season Hype Video
This video took a lot of planning to get just right, as we wanted to highlight the building of a new program under a new coach. We had to not only get practice, lifting and conditioning content, but also find connections to former players and historical content to bridge the gap between the old and the new. Being able to have our former player Deuce McBride narrate the video brought it all together.
2021 - Jam4Cam Highlight Reel
This is an important cause to me personally, and working with Jam4Cam to capture their event was a great experience both through photo and video. I had not done a lot of concert work at this point, and playing with low-light as well as learning to navigate a concert environment was a huge experience booster.
2025 - Kilter Board Opening
This was the first major project I worked on at my current job with Georgia Tech, highlighting a new rock climbing wall called a Kilter Board. The video included interviews with two students heavily involved in the rock climbing community at Tech, and one interview with the donor of the wall, to thoroughly highlight the new features and importance to the student community.
2023 & 2024 - Big 12 Schedule Reveal Videos
These were really fun videos to make, both creatively and just generally a fun time! I wanted to make videos that the players could have fun with in order to showcase their personalities while also revealing our opponents for the year, since that is typically a more boring task. It also provided some fun editing opportunities and some comedic timing as well.
